🚀 Getting Started with Ledger Live
Opening Ledger Live for the very first time? On the welcome screen, click Get started, pick your device model (Nano S, Nano X, etc.), and hit Select to begin setup . It guides you through connecting your hardware, setting a PIN, and installing the companion app.
🗝️ How to Log In
Ledger Live doesn’t use email/password login—instead, connect your Ledger device via USB or Bluetooth, then enter its PIN. This unlocks the app instantly . In the settings (General tab), you can also enable a password lock—this way, relaunching Ledger Live prompts for that password, even if your device stays plugged in .
🔐 Using the App
Once you’re logged in, the Manager lets you install apps (like Bitcoin or Ethereum) to your Ledger hardware . Accounts can be added and removed under the Accounts tab by clicking the wrench icon, then Remove from Portfolio if needed .
🔓 Logging Out & Resetting
Ledger Live doesn’t have a “logout” button, but you can mimic it by going to Settings → Help → Reset Ledger Live, clearing local data and locking things down Alternatively, uninstalling the app achieves the same result.
